81LM battery & holder

Revision-dependent: earlier 114A1763B hardware uses 12 V part 10A14; newer documentation specifies 3 V CR2032. Identify actual battery compartment and installed cell marking before replacement. Do not substitute one voltage/shape for the other.

Historical documents list different battery arrangements for this model. Earlier 12 V part 10A14 and later 3 V CR2032 specifications must not be interchanged. Confirm the installed holder and hardware revision before replacement.

Programming your 81LM

Setup depends on the exact receiver and hardware revision. These model notes do not establish a complete pairing sequence for your equipment.

Match both the remote and opener or external receiver. Keep the door or gate in sight and clear of people. Do not hold a LEARN button or erase memory unless the instructions for that exact equipment require it.

Compatibility & exclusions

The manual limits this family to openers/light controls with a green Learn button and green indicator.

Light accessories use their own enrollment instructions. Do not substitute instructions for the distinct 81-315LM model.
